Looking at how broadcasting is changing for the good of business. One thing I did read about, broadcasters want to move to offer their content to mobile devices. They are working with on getting the technologies added to mobile devices that would allow them to receive a broadcast signal. Next February when the analog signal gets cut off, all TV stations in America will be broadcasting in digital. Broadcasters are working on getting mobiles devices to receive the transmitted digital signal.

They say this move is because they are losing advertising dollars to all the new media like the Internet. As people are on the go more and more and able to take their media with them on smart phones and ipods, companies are spend less on TV and radio advertising. Now just think if you could get all you local TV and radio stations on your mobile media player, you could be inline at the bank or waiting at the doctors office and view local TV.
